February 2nd 2007 Results colouring contest
Many children have responded enthousiastically. We've received many beautiful, creative colorings, so chosing was hard!
The winner is: Adinda Suparmono (5 years) from Hilversum. We've given her the toy block cart on her fifth birthday (see picture below).
Since so many beautiful colorings have been sent in, we've decided to award more prices:
2nd price: Dennis Leurs (6 years) from Almere has received a De Speelgaard gift certificate in the amount of € 10,00.
3rd price: Isara and Natascha Kazen (2 and 1 years) from Sliedrecht has received a De Speelgaard gift certificate in the amount of € 7,50.
Every other contestant has received a gift certificate in the amount of € 2,50.

November 25, 2006 Opening
The webshop is open for business! Starting today you can order beautiful wooden toys and children's furniture through our web site.
October 27, 2006 Opening postponed
To be certain De Speelgaard can deliver according to our standards, we have decided to postpone opening our web shop for a short while. On Monday November 20th, we will be open for business. On Tuesday November 21st you can have the first Speelgaard products at home!
October 9, 2006 Product line wooden cars
The first product line is ready. Four wooden cars out of lime wood, with wheels out of beech wood, finished with lin seed oil. Lin seed oil is very safe, also when your child likes to use the toys to suck on! Soon you can expect coloured cars, finished with transparent, water based paint.
October 8th, 2006 Date of opening known!
On November 1st, 2006 the web shop of De Speelgaard will finally be opened. Before that time the products of De Speelgaard will be presented on the web site one by one, but they cannot be bought yet.
From the opening on wooden Speelgaard products will be available, such as wooden cars, toy block boxes, wooded children's tables and -chairs as well as marbles. At a later time the product line will be extended with more wooden toys, such as doll houses, and also with baby's furniture.
